Trenton Thunder News Release

(Trenton, NJ) - The 2007 Eastern League Champion Trenton Thunder, the Double A affiliate of the New York Yankees, have announced that its flagship station WBUD-AM will be changing its format to FOX Sports 1260 effective April 14th. All Trenton Thunder broadcasts (including post-season) will remain on Fox Sports 1260.

FOX Sports 1260 will air the FOX Sports Radio Network, in addition to The Jim Rome Show. "We recognized a sports programming void in the Mercer/Burlington/Bucks County area, so we're thrilled to bring them the national power of FOX Sports along with local coverage of the New York Yankees Double-A affiliate, the Trenton Thunder, Rider University Basketball and "In Your Face" with Tyrone A. Johnson," says Ray Handel, Group Marketing Director for Millennium Radio.

FOX Sports 1260 programming that will now be heard on the station includes: The Third Shift on FOX with Ben Maller, The First Team on FOX with Steve Czaban, Out of Bounds on FOX with Craig Shemon & James Washington, FOX GameTime Live with Andrew Siciliano & Krystal Fernandez, FOX GameTime React with JT "The Brick," and more. The FOX Sports Radio Network, based in Sherman Oaks, Calif., is a division of Premiere Radio Networks in partnership with FOX Sports. The Jim Rome Show, a.k.a. The Jungle, is heard on more than 200 radio stations and is syndicated by Premier Radio Networks.

"What a great association for the Thunder to be branded with an all-sports station here in the Greater Mercer/Burlington/Bucks County area," said Thunder General Manager Brad Taylor. "We look forward to continuing our long-standing relationship with Millennium Radio."

This is the fifth season the Thunder have had their radio broadcasts on WBUD-AM. The first year WBUD-AM carried Thunder broadcasts was in 2004.

The Thunder will look to end their two-game losing streak on Friday night with the second game of the four-game series against the Harrisburg Senators (Double-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals) at Waterfront Park. Game time is 7:05 p.m. LHP Phil Coke (0-0, 6.75) will start for Trenton against Harrisburg RHP Josh Hall (0-1, 24.00).
