X's 2008 Single Game Tickets On Sale

Firework extravaganza's, an array of giveaways highlight another season of affordable family entertainment at Lewis & Clark Park, the home of your Sioux City Explorers - and beginning tomorrow at 10:00 AM (Saturday April 12th, 2008) fans will get their first opportunity to purchase single game tickets for all 48 games on the Explorers 2008 home schedule. A wide range of tickets will be available when the box office opens at 10:00 AM with general admission seats starting at only $6.00 with reserved seats starting for only $8.00 and lower level box seats for only $10.00!! Additionally, group discounts are available for every home game on the 2008 home schedule with a group of 25 or more.

Single game tickets may be purchased one of three ways: in person at the Lewis & Clark Park Box Office, by telephone (712-277-9467), or on-line at www.xsbaseball.com. Sure to go fast are seats for the Explorers May 10th home opener against the Wichita Wingnuts. Highlighting the night will be a spectacular post-game fireworks show as well it being magnet schedule giveaway brought to you by L&L Distributing.

In addition to "Opening Night" fireworks, firework shows are also scheduled following the Explorers July 3rd, July 4th, and August 23rd games at Lewis & Clark Park. Baseball cards, baseball caps, team posters, logo baseballs, and replica jersey t-shirts are just some of the special giveaway items planned for the 2008 season.

The Explorers will also feature several of their popular money-saving theme nights in 2008 - NEW for 2008 will be Guaranteed WINSday, where if the X's fail to win, all fans will receive a FREE reserved seat ticket to any home game prior to the next Wednesday home game. Another new promotion in 2008 will be weekend happy hour to where 12oz domestic draft beer and 12 oz Pepsi soft drinks will only be $1 from 6:00 PM until the first pitch (7:05). Also back for another season is the ever-popular Wiener Wednesday, where hot dogs are Buy One Get One FREE. Other weekly specials include $2 Margaritas and $4 reserved seats for groups of 25 or more on all Monday home games, 2-dollar-Tuesday where kids under 12 and seniors over 62 can purchase reserved seat tickets for $2. "Thirsty Thursday" returns again in 2008 to where all 12 oz. Coor's Light draft beers and 12oz Pepsi soft drinks are just a dollar each!!

2008 Pocket Schedules have arrived and are available by stopping down to the Lewis & Clark Box Office located at the stadium. Fans may also visit www.xsbaseball.com to view the 2008 schedule and promotions.
