
Rivermen Host Aeros at 3 pm on Family Fun on the Run Day

It's the final Family Fun on the Run Day today brought to you by Comcast Cable and the Peoria Journal Star as the Peoria Rivermen take on the Houston Aeros today at Carver Arena. Puck drop is slated for 3 pm.
From 2-3 pm there will be $1 hot dogs, Cokes, and bags of chips and all upper bowl tickets are just $1 for all kids 12-and-under. Plus it's the team's final post-game skate with the players following the contest.
Kids will be able to enjoy inflatables, face painting, and balloon animals as well during the game.
It's also Peoria Zoo Day, and the Rivermen are asking everyone to recycle their old cell phones to help clean up the environment! The Zoo will be heading the collection as well as featuring several small animals at the game.
