Columbus Recalls Tom Sestito

Syracuse, NY (April 6, 2008) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Columbus Blue Jackets have recalled left wing Tom Sestito.

Sestito, 20, is in his first professional season and has appeared in 62 games for the Crunch this year, registering 7 goals, 15 assists and 198 penalty minutes. Prior to joining the Crunch, Sestito played for three seasons with Plymouth (OHL), appearing in 152 games, recording 53 goals, 35 assists and 399 penalty minutes.

A native of Rome, New York, Sestito was drafted by Columbus in the third round, 85th overall, in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.

The Crunch's next game is Sunday, April 6 as they travel to Rochester to take on the Americans. The Crunch return home on Saturday, April 12 vs. Binghamton at the War Memorial at Oncenter.
