
Wolves Announce Dates For First Two Home Playoff Games

The Chicago Wolves will host their first two games of the 2008 Calder Cup Playoffs at the Allstate Arena on Wed., April 16 (POA) at 7:00 p.m., and Fri., April 18 (POB) at 7:30 p.m. Opponents remain to be determined.
The Wolves have already clinched the West Division title and are guaranteed home ice for the first two rounds of the playoffs, which includes the West Division Semifinal. The squad, which also holds a two-point edge over the Toronto Marlies for first place in the Western Conference with 105 points through 75 games, will face off against the fourth-seeded West Division team in the first round.
Chicago's opponent will be determined in the final eight days of the regular season from a pool that includes the Houston Aeros (90 points), Milwaukee Admirals (90 points), Peoria Rivermen (81 points), Rockford IceHogs (94 points) and San Antonio Rampage (90 points).
The Wolves have earned a postseason berth for the 13th time in 14 seasons and have won three championships in the last 10 years: the 1998 and 2000 Turner Cups and the 2002 Calder Cup.
Fans who purchase any ticket for $20 or more for every playoff home game will receive a complimentary pre-game dinner which will include pastas, salads, chicken, hamburgers and hot dogs, along with chips, desserts and soda in the Skyline Room of the Allstate Arena 90 minutes prior to each game.
