Rochester scored the eventual game-winning goal at 4:22 of the final frame when Stewart picked up his second tally of the game. Defenceman Jeremy Swanson, who only registered two points (0-2-2) in 47 games in the regular season, picked up his third assist of the night on the goal.
Between the pipes, Price made 15 saves on 19 shots in a losing effort for Hamilton, while Rochester's Anderson picked up the win, turning aside 20 of the 23 shots he faced.
