Guelph Storm News Release

This past weekend the Storm played three games in less than 48 hours, picking up one of a possible six points Sunday afternoon in a shootout loss to the London Knights. On Friday night, a five goal first period deficit was too much for the Storm to overcome as they lost 6-5 to the Mississauga IceDogs. Saturday night the Storm traveled to London to take on the Midwest Division leading London Knights. An empty net goal late in the third for the Knights put an end to the Storm's offensive pressure, handing Guelph their third loss in as many games. With one point on the weekend the Storm currently sit third in the Midwest Division, two points behind the second place Owen Sound Attack.
