Louisville, KY - The Louisville Bats are pleased to announce that tickets for the 2006 Governors' Cup Playoffs will go on sale Thursday, August 24 at 10:00 a.m. to the general public.
Louisville would host games one and two of the first round of the playoffs on September 6 and 7 if they win the division. Currently, Louisville trails Indianapolis by 2.0 games in the International League's West Division with 14 games remaining. Listed below are possible playoff scenarios.
IF LOUISVILLE WINS THE DIVISION
First Round: Finals:
9/6: South Division Winner at Louisville 9/12: Louisville at North Division/Wild Card Winner
9/7: South Division Winner at Louisville 9/13: Louisville at North Division/Wild Card Winner
9/8: Louisville at South Division Winner 9/14: North Division/Wild Card Winner at Louisville
9/9: Louisville at South Division Winner (if necessary) 9/15: North Division/Wild Card Winner at Louisville (if necessary)
9/10: Louisville at South Division Winner (if necessary) 9/16: North Division/Wild Card Winner at Louisville (if necessary)
Tickets may be purchased through Ticketmaster Charge-By-Phone at (502) 361-3100, www.ticketmaster.com, Ticketmaster Ticket Centers and at the Louisville Slugger Field ticket windows. Regular hours at the Louisville Slugger Field box office are Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The Ticketmaster Ticket Centers include all Kroger Super Markets.
