Lynx announced their pre-season schedule

The Augusta Lynx announced their pre-season schedule today, featuring contests against regional rivals Greenville, South Carolina, and Columbia.

Augusta will kick off their pre-season schedule against the Greenville Grrrowl with a tilt at the Augusta Ice Sports Center on Thursday, October 15th at 7 pm. Tickets to the game will go on sale through the Augusta Ice Sports Center on October 1st and are $5 each, with all proceeds going to benefit the Augusta Youth Ice Hockey Association. The Lynx will then take to the road against the South Carolina Stingrays for a Saturday game at the Carolina Ice Palace in Charleston at 3 pm, before heading to Columbia for a Tuesday night scuffle against the Inferno at 7:05 pm. Admission is free to the general public with a monetary donation to be given to the Red Cross for disaster relief efforts at the door. All concession proceeds will be donated by Centerplate and the University of South Carolina to the victims of the gulf coast region. The ECHL league office has agreed to provide the cost of the on-ice officials. Courtesy of The University of South Carolina, parking for this one game will be free for all fans that attend the game.

There will be no radio or internet broadcast coverage for Augusta's pre-season games.
