The Hagerstown Suns, together with the Washington County Arts Council, are excited to announce the participating bands for the 2nd annual "Hagerstown Suns Chili Cook-off & Music Festival." The event will once again take place inside Municipal Stadium on Saturday, September 24th. The event is a major fund-raising project that will benefit the Washington County Arts Council.
The bands below have been selected to participate in the "Music Festival" portion of the event. Performance times for each band will be announced soon at the event website, www.sunschilicookoff.com. The website will also host links to each band's own website for fans to view.

The Suns are now also accepting Chili Cook Team registrations. Registration for companies and non-profit organizations entering the Chili Cook-off will cost only $50, while individuals will be charged just $25. Registrations are due no later than Friday, September 2nd, 2005.
Registration forms are available by visiting www.sunschilicookoff.com and downloading the form, or by contacting the Hagerstown Suns via email at info@hagerstownsuns.com or calling 301.791.6266. Each registration packet includes a complete set of Chili Cook-off rules.
The winner of the "Best Chili" will take home $1,000 in cash for the top prize. Other prizes will also be awarded including "Best Chili Booth Display" and the "People's Choice" chili.
The Suns Chili Cookoff & Music Festival will kick off at 12 Noon on Saturday, September 24th, and conclude at approximately 6:00pm. However, chili tasting will take place only from Noon until 4:00pm.
Tickets to the event will be made available to the public very soon. Advance tickets will cost $10 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and under. Youth three and under will be free. Tickets the day of the event will cost $12 and $6 respectively. All adult tickets will receive four (4) free chili coupons and all youth tickets will receive two (2) free chili coupons. Tickets will be available for purchase at the event website, www.sunschilicookoff.com or by calling the Suns at 301.791.6266.
