January 14, 2026 - Watertown, SD -- Earlier this week, former Watertown Shamrocks defenseman Phoenix Cahill was named to the NHL Central Scouting Mid-Term Rankings report.
Cahill, who appeared in seven games last season for Watertown, was the 192nd ranked skater amongst North Americans and received a sixth-round grade. In total, Central Scouting ranked 224 North American skaters. He becomes the first player in franchise history to receive a ranking in the Mid-Term Rankings. January 13, 2026 - Watertown, SD -- Watertown Shamrocks defenseman Andrew Smulkstys announced today that he has committed to the University of Alaska-Fairbanks to continue playing hockey at the Division 1 level collegaitely.
"My decision to commit to the University of Alaska-Fairbanks was easy," Smulkstys said in a statement of his choice to join the Nanooks. January 10, 2026 - Watertown, SD -- The Watertown Shamrocks have officially added forward Ben Davis to the active roster from the Langley Rivermen of the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL).
A 2007 born forward, Davis brings high-level junior hockey experience to the Watertown lineup.
Most recently with Langley, Davis recorded 11 points (five goals, six assists) in 30 games this season. A year ago, Davis spent the entire season in the Western Hockey League (WHL) with the Wenatchee Wild, playing in 49 of 68 games and recorded one goal a... Full Story

"Sebastian possesses a high-end offensive skill sit," Shamrocks Head Coach and General Manager Casey Kirley said in a statement. "In addition to his playmaking ability, he also does a good job of moving his feet and getting his body involved in the play.
