June 28, 2023 - Frank Ginda had an epiphany while training for the upcoming USFL season last year. Perhaps the Michigan Panthers linebacker should shed a few pounds to better track ball carriers from sideline to sideline. The San Jose State product regularly played at 240 pounds throughout his professional career on his 6-foot frame. June 26, 2023 - Birmingham Stallions quarterback Alex McGough, Birmingham cornerback Brian Allen and Pittsburgh Maulers quarterback Troy Williams were named OurSports Central United States Football League Offensive Player, Defensive Player and Unsung Hero of the Week, respectively, for the playoff round of the USFL season. June 19, 2023 - Birmingham Stallions quarterback Alex McGough, New Orleans Breakers linebacker Vontae Diggs and Michigan Panthers quarterback E.J. Perry were named OurSports Central United States Football League Offensive Player, Defensive Player and Unsung Hero of the Week, respectively, for week ten of the USFL season.
