A 20-point second quarter propelled the Los Angeles Wildcats to victory over the Tampa Bay Vipers
41-34 on March 8. The Wildcats trailed 24-6 at the two-minute warning but managed to find their
rhythm and scored 14 points in 77 seconds, which is the largest comeback in XFL history. A nine-
yard touchdown reception by TE De'Quan Hampton followed by a successful two-point conversion

March 9, 2020 - LOS ANGELES - A 20-point second quarter propelled the Los Angeles Wildcats to victory over the Tampa Bay Vipers 41-34 live on ESPN in their first night game of the season at Dignity Health Sports Park.
Despite the showing of the final score, the Wildcats were slow to start with double-digit unanswered points. They trailed 17-0 in the second quarter until WR Jordan Smallwood served as the catalyst to the stalling offense. Wildcats Sweep OurSports Central XFL Player of the Week Honors

March 9, 2020 - Los Angeles Wildcats quarterback Josh Johnson, Wildcats defensive end Cedric Reed and Los Angeles safety Jack Tocho were named the OurSports Central XFL Offensive Player, Defensive Player and Unsung Hero of the Week, respectively, for week five of the XFL season.
Johnson completed 20 of 36 passes for 288 yards, four touchdowns and one interception in the Los Angeles Wildcats' 41-34 victory over the Tampa Bay Vipers.
