
Ziemmer Makes Return; Cougars Battle Blazers in Final Weekend of Regular Season

KAMLOOPS, BC - Tonight, at the Sandman Centre, the Prince George Cougars visit the Kamloops Blazers to begin the final weekend of the regular season at 7:00 pm. These two games this weekend will determine where the Cats will finish in the Western Conference and who they will see in the opening round of the 2024 WHL Playoffs.
The Prince George Cougars won their season-high seventh consecutive game, defeating the Victoria Royals by a 6-3 score. Terik Parascak and Zac Funk both scored twice while Jett Lajoie and Carlin Dezainde added singles. Joshua Ravensbergen earned the win in goal, making 25 saves.

ZIEMMER IS IN: Cougars sniper and LA Kings prospect Koehn Ziemmer will returns to the Cougar line-up this weekend against the Kamloops Blazers. Ziemmer was side-lined since November 27th when he suffered a lower-body injury. Before his injury, Ziemmer owned 31 points in 21 games (11-20-31).
32 + 17 + 27 = 100: On Sunday, March 17th, Terik Parascak became the sixth Cougar in history to reach the 100-point plateau. Parascak becomes the third Cougar on the current roster to reach 100 points (Riley Heidt, Zac Funk). Parascak is also the reigning WHL Player of the Week.
