Metairie, LA. â Colin Porter scored on a single from Alan Zinter in the bottom of the tenth to give the New Orleans Zephyrs (70-72) a 1 to 0 victory over the Memphis Redbirds (63-78) on Saturday Night at Zephyr Field.
Porter led off the tenth with a single off Redbirds reliever Pedro Borbon. Gabe Molina replaced Borbon as Porter advanced to second on a Dax Norris sacrifice bunt. Molina intentionally walked Mike Moriarty to put runners on first and second. After Dave Matranga struck out, Zinter drilled the 1-0 offering from Molina into right field to give the Zephyrs the win.

Both starting pitchers pitched well as Zephyrs starter Randy Keisler pitched seven innings allowing no runs on six hits. Jason Ryan pitched eight innings limiting the Z's to three hits.
