
Zephyrs Baseball Camp to be Held June 28 and 29

Metairie, LA --- The NEW ORLEANS ZEPHYRS the Class AAA Pacific Coast League affiliate of the Houston Astros are pleased to announce that the 2003 Zephyrs Baseball Camp will take place on Saturday June 28th and Sunday June 29th at Zephyr Field.
Ochsner and the Zephyrs are pleased to present the two day camp designed for children ages 8 to 13 featuring instruction on the fundamentals of hitting, fielding, baseball mechanics and strategy by Zephyrs players, coaches, and trainers. Campers will be divided into teams according to their age group. The campers will receive an official Zephyrs Baseball Camp T-shirt, have lunch with the players and receive four tickets to the Sunday June 29th Zephyrs game against the Albuquerque Isotopes.
The cost of the camp is $75 per child with each additional sibling costing $50. The camp will take place from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. each day. Campers should wear tennis shoes, shorts or sliding pants, baseball hats and bring their own glove. Sun block is recommended.
