
Zacuto, Cats win in 12

Kris Zacuto's 12th-inning RBI single pushed the Cats past Coastal Bend 5-4 Monday night at LaGrave Field. The win brought the Cats to within three games of the Aviators for the lead in the South Division.
Zacuto gave the Cats their first lead of the game in the eight inning when he doubled home Shawn Williams in the eighth to make it 4-3 Fort Worth.
Jordan Foster's fifth-inning homer tied the game at three in the fifth. It was Foster's eighth homer of the season to lead the club.
Coastal Bend jumped out to a 3-0 lead with two runs in the first and a run in the top of the fifth.
Steve Wilkerson (3-0) allowed one run in four innings of relief work to earn the victory. BJ Litchfield (2-2) suffered the loss as he permitted the Zacuto game-winning single after 4 1/3 innings of shutout relief.
Cats' second baseman Kip Harkrider was 4-for-6 in the game and reached on a single in the 12th before scoring on Zacuto's hit.
The third game of the series is Tuesday night at 7:05 p.m. Kevin Hull pitches for the Cats and Jose Lopez will be on the mound for Coastal Bend.
