MANCHESTER, N.H. - Manchester Monarchs Head Coach, Rich Seeley, announced tonight that forward, Zac Larraza, has been returned to the Monarchs by the San Diego Gulls (AHL).

Larraza, 22, has played in 21 games for the Monarchs this season, scoring 18 points on 11 goals and seven assists. The first-year player was loaned to the Milwaukee Admirals (AHL) on December 16 and appeared in 10 games, scoring three points on two goals and one assist. Larraza was set to rejoin the Monarchs on January 13, but was loaned to the San Diego Gulls that same day. With San Diego, Larraza played in seven games, scoring two points on a goal and an assist.

Larraza was also loaned to the Portland Pirates (AHL) on November 12, and played in two games, recording one assist.

The 6-foot-2, 194-pound native of Scottsdale, Ariz. played collegiately at the University of Denver, playing in 134 games over a four-year career, scoring 66 points on 35 goals and 31 assists.

Larraza and the Monarchs are back in action Saturday, Feb. 6 (7 p.m.) when they host the Elmira Jackals at the Verizon Wireless Arena for Pink in the Rink.
