IceHogs Recall Mattson Ahead of Back-To-Back Weekend for Fuel

INDIANAPOLIS - The American Hockey League's Rockford IceHogs announced today they have recalled defenseman Nick Mattson from the Indy Fuel.

The 24-year-old Chanhassen, MN native appeared in three games for the IceHogs earlier this season. With the Fuel so far, Mattson has 11 assists and 12 points in 36 games. His +6 rating is tops among Fuel rookies in 2015-16. He is currently riding a three-game assist streak with four points (1-3-4) in that stretch.

The Fuel begin a home-and-home series with the Cyclones in Cincinnati Friday night at 7:35 pm, followed by the return match on Saturday night at Indiana Farmers Coliseum at 7:35 pm.
