Goaltender Martin Ouellette Recalled to Lehigh Valley

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League, today announced that goaltender Martin Ouellette has been recalled to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms of the American Hockey League.

This is the fifth recall of the year to Lehigh Valley for Ouellette, a second year pro from Saint-Hippolyte, Quebec. In twenty-one games with the Royals, he has gone 10-8-2-0 with a 2.10 goals against average (tied-fifth best in the league), a .915 save percentage and three shutouts. Ouellette has appeared in two games for Lehigh Valley (0-2-0-0, 5.40, .842).

The Royals begin a two-game weekend set against the Wheeling Nailers tomorrow (Friday, February 5 @ 7:35 p.m.). This will be the fifth matchup of the season for the two clubs with each having taken a pair of games from one another. Friday's game night broadcast on CBS Sports Radio 1240 am and 98.5 fm will kick off with the pre-game warm-up show presented by Highmark Blue Shield at 7:00 p.m. As with all Royals' road games this season, Saturday's game will be televised locally in Berks County, Pennsylvania, on BCTV courtesy of Boscov's Travel and Apple Vacations. Streaming audio is available free of charge on the Royals' website; and streaming video is available on a pay-per-view basis through ECHL.TV.
