YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The Youngstown Phantoms announced today their 2011-2012 promotional schedule, kicking off the Opening Weekend with pre-game tailgates before the Phantoms host the Des Moines Buccaneers on Friday, October 14 and Saturday, October 15. The fun continues all season long with a wide array of unique promotional events for all 30 home games!
Some of the new promotions this season include Phan Handz Giveaway on Saturday, November 5, Island Escape Night on Saturday, January 14 and a visit from the world famous ZOOperstars! on Saturday, March 24.
Giveaways and promotions back this season by popular demand include: Free T-Shirt Giveaway andStar Wars Night on Saturday November 19, Teddy Bear Toss on Saturday, December 10; YSU Night Friday, January 27; and Local Heroes Night Saturday, March 3. The Phantoms once again will be having TWO Scout Nights this season, the first on Saturday, November 5 and the second on Saturday, March 24.
Also returning this season are Student ID Nights every Friday home game, where college students with a current ID can receive 50 percent off purple level seats. And this season every Sunday through Thursday home game is "Double Dollar Deal Day" where fans can get a 16 oz. beer, 16 oz. soda, hotdog or popcorn for just $2!
And as always the Phantoms will wrap up their regular season with their Fan Appreciation Weekend on Friday, April13 and Saturday, April 14 against the Green Bay Gamblers.
