Kansas City Outlaws News Release

As the Outlaws split their Friday and Saturday battles on Halloween weekend, the Outlaws have developed a dynamic duo in the assist department with the team's youngest player, 19-year old Steve Yetman, and player/assistant coach 34-year old Jason Ruff. Yetman and Ruff have a combined for 15 assists in seven games. Meanwhile, veteran Joe Seroski takes advantage of the assist-men and leads the entire UHL in goals with eight.

LAST WEEK's Showdowns:

- Friday, October 29 @.Rockford: WIN 2-1 (in shootouts) The Outlaws love shootouts, as they are two for two in games tied at the end of regulation. Maxime Gingras showed why he is the anchor between the pipes as he shut down all nine shots in the shootout when Mark Lee finally gave the Outlaws the victory in the ninth round of the tie-breaker.

- Saturday, October 30 @ Quad City: LOSS 6-2 During a 15-game road trip, there will be some showdowns when you don't have your guns blazin'. The Mallards came out firing and scored the game's first four goals against Outlaws second goalie Mike Buckley, in route to a blowout that Buckley and the Outlaws defensemen will want to forget about ASAP.

WANTED TEAMS ON THE HORIZON: 4 road games in 5 days

- Wednesday, November 3 @ Missouri River Otters: The cross state rival turns to the other side of Missouri, as the Outlaws lead the season series 2-0 during the Kemper Arena sweep on opening weekend. Since losing two to the Outlaws, the River Otters are 3-1-1 and just three points back of KC in the Western Division.

- Friday, November 5 @ Kalamazoo Wings: The K-Wings are in second place in the Central behind the leagues only undefeated team (Muskegon). The Outlaws are familiarizing themselves with the state of Michigan, as the Wings are one of five teams in the UHL from the self-proclaimed hockey state.

- Saturday, November 6 @ Fort Wayne Komets: The Franke connection will meet for the first time ever. Stephen Franke, owner of both the Komets and the Outlaws, is sure to cheer for a shootout so both teams can gain at least one point. The Komets sit only one point ahead of the Outlaws in the Western Division with an extra game played (5-2-1). An interdivision rivalry is sure to develop beginning Saturday night!

- Sunday, November 7 @ Flint Generals: Watch out for Flint's left winger Kris Waltze, who averages over 10 penalty minutes per game, which is the second highest in the league. This will be game number nine of the 15-game road trip for the Outlaws ... one win at a time before returning to Kemper Arena on Thanksgiving.
