Tulsa Oilers News Release
The Tulsa Oilers are not only looking good in the Central Hockey League standings (holding down the final playoff spot in the Northern Division) they're looking even better on the ice.
The CHL released it's "Best of the Best" results today to reveal the Oilers have the best uniforms in the league for the 2004-05 season.
Other, on-ice, recognition went to the team captains. Todd Marcellus finished second in the Smartest Player category, Jason Bermingham second in the Most Underrated Player category and Dan Gravelle second in the Best Player in Face-Offs category. KC Lupp and Ken Kinder teamed up for third in Best PA Announcer.
As for looking the part, Amy Wood, Director of Merchandise Sales, said, "It's really an honor to be recognized... we worked very hard on putting our third jersey together this season. It can be hard coming up with something that looks both new and classic and I'm glad everyone like the result."
