York Vs. Road Warriors Postponed

Today's scheduled contest between the York Revolution and the Road Warriors has been postponed due to rain. The Revs were leading 2-0 in the bottom of the fourth inning before a second rain delay that ultimately forced the game's postponement occurred. Statistics from the game do not count. The game will be rescheduled as part of a doubleheader featuring two seven-inning contests on Sunday, September 4 at Sovereign Bank Stadium beginning at 1 p.m.

Fans with tickets from Sunday's game can exchange those tickets in-person at the Apple Chevrolet Ticket Office for a future 2011 regular season home game based on availability.

The Revs host the Bridgeport Bluefish in the first of a three-game series on Monday night at 6:30 p.m. with Corey Thurman (10-3, 3.14) scheduled to face Matt Pike (8-5, 3.84). It's a Hatfield Dollar Dog Night with the Hatfield Hot Dog Cannon, and National Night Out Celebration. There's also a Maple Donuts Ticket Promotion for all three games against Bridgeport. Fans who buy a dozen Maple Donuts receive two FREE tickets to their choice of any game in the upcoming series. Fans can pick up those vouchers when purchasing their donuts and exchange the vouchers in the Apple Chevrolet Ticket Office at Sovereign Bank Stadium. Tickets are also available at YorkRevolution.com and (717) 801-HITS. The Revs will enter play on Monday night with a season-high 2.5-game lead for first place in the Freedom Division's second half.
