OKLAHOMA CITY YARD DAWGZ (6-5) vs. FLORIDA FIRECATS (9-3) SATURDAY, JUNE 30th, 2007- FORD CENTER (17,884) 7:05 P.M. CST

This Saturday, the Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz will host the Florida Firecats in an effort to avenge their season opening loss. The Yard Dawgz return home after two consecutive road losses. The road has been unkind to the Dawgz this season resulting in 4 of their 5 losses.

The last time the teams met (3/31/07), the Firecats were rated #1 and held the Yard Dawgz to the lowest score in franchise history (22 points). QB Stan Hill threw two of the team's five interceptions and the Dawgz were 0 for 9 on 3rd down attempts. Since that time, the Yard Dawgz offense has flourished, leading the league in passing and total offense. Averaging 286.4 passing yards per game, Hill is making a name for himself across the af2. The former Schutt Offensive Player of the Week is 249-of-398, has 3,150 passing yards and 53 TDs on the season.

The Yard Dawgz are looking forward to a playoff run which include four of the last five at home. "Everything's smoother at home," commented Head Coach John Fitzgerald. "We'll have our home crowd, lots of energy and our own beds."
