
Y'alls Fall to Otters in Battle for Best in West

FLORENCE, Ky - Following a brief 13-minute rain delay, the Florence Y'alls fell to the Evansville Otters on Tuesday night at Y'alls Ballpark, 11-7.
Florence struck first on a Taylor Bryant home run to lead off the bottom of the first inning. The Y'alls added on in the bottom of the second, scoring four runs to make it 5-1. After that, it was all Evansville.
The Otters scored twice in each the third and fifth innings to tie the score. After taking the lead with a run in the sixth, Evansville put up a 4-spot in the top of the seventh to put the game out of reach.
Evansville scored its 11 runs on 18 hits while Florence scored its seven runs on 10 hits. Dalton Stambaugh (1-0) earned the win and Alex Wagner (0-2) was credited with the loss. With the win, the Otters improves to 9-3, tying the Y'alls at the top of the West Division.
The Y'alls continue to host the Otters on June 9 and 10 at Y'alls Ballpark in Florence, Kentucky.
