X's and RailCats Postponed Due to Rain

Sioux City Explorers News Release


Sioux City, IA - Due to the inclement weather in the Siouxland area, the first pitch of the series finale between the Sioux City Explorers and the Gary SouthShore RailCats will be postponed.

The game will be made up as a doubleheader at US Steel Yard when the Explorers visit the RailCats next weekend June 10th, 11th and 12th. The date or time of the doubleheader has yet to be announced but will be at a later date and time.

The Explorers now have a day off on Monday before beginning a seven game road trip on Tuesday. They visit the Kane County Cougars in Geneva, IL for a three game series, beginning on Tuesday with first pitch set for 6:30 pm. Then travel to Gary, IN to take on the RailCats for a four game set beginning on Friday.

The Explorers next home game will be Tuesday, June 14th at 7:05 pm against the Kansas City Monarchs and Pack the Park night presented by Powell Broadcasting.
