WHO: Storm guards Tanisha Wright and Shyra Ely

WHAT: Wright and Ely will visit students at John Muir Elementary School for a "Read To Achieve" event. They will read to students and discuss the importance of reading and literacy.

WHEN: 3-4 p.m., Tuesday, May 22

ABOUT THE EVENT: The Storm is helping students become better readers by partnering with Starbucks Coffee Company. The Storm provides materials and incentives through Read To Achieve - a program that helps students improve their reading skills. By challenging students to read for at least 20 minutes a day for 20 days each month, Read To Achieve helps students elevate their reading scores and expand their love of books.

Read To Achieve is a community program supported by WNBA Cares. WNBA Cares is the league's global community outreach initiative that addresses important social issues with an emphasis on programs that support education, youth and family development and health-related causes.

DIRECTIONS: Head on to the Alaskan Way Viaduct

Take the Safeco Field/Ferries exit

Merge onto 1st Ave S.

Turn left onto S. Atlantic St/Edgar Martinez Dr. S.

Stay straight to go on to I-90

Take the Rainier Ave. S. exit-Exit 3

Turn right on to Rainier Ave. S.

Turn left onto S. Walden St.

S. Walden St. becomes S. Horton St.
