Wranglers Rookie Heads Back to AHL

LAS VEGAS, NV- The Las Vegas Wranglers® announced today that forward Kelly Czuy has been loaned to the Iowa Stars of the American Hockey League.

Czuy heads back to Iowa after returning to the Wranglers this past Monday from a one-game stint with the Stars. Czuy was held scoreless in his only appearance with Iowa. In his first season with the Wranglers, Czuy has 11 goals and four assists for 15 points in 39 games. The rugged winger has also added 78 penalty minutes over that span. The Edmonton, ALTA native played four seasons with the University of Alaska-Fairbanks scoring 39 goals and adding 45 assists for 84 collegiate points. Czuy signed with the Manitoba Moose after finishing his college career and played three games in the AHL at the end of the 2005-06 season without registering a point.

The Wranglers will wear specialty Hawaiian Jerseys when they conclude a seven-game home stand on Friday night by hosting Phoenix at 7:05 pm. After road games in Phoenix, Long Beach and Bakersfield, the Wranglers will return home on Tuesday, March 27th to host Bakersfield at 7:05 pm.

The Wranglers play all 36 home games at the Orleans Arena, located at the Orleans Hotel and Casino at 4500 W. Tropicana Avenue.
