Wranglers Playoff Tickets On-Sale Tuesday

WICHITA, Kan. - The Wichita Wranglers announced playoff tickets will go on sale Tuesday, August 22, at 10AM. The Wranglers currently hold a six game lead in the North Division of the Texas League 2nd Half. Their magic number to clinch the division is eight. The Wranglers have 13 games left to play, with nine being played at Lawrence Dumont Stadium.

All Playoff Tickets will be just $5, including all chair back seating in Lawrence Dumont Stadium. Tickets purchased for games not played will be refunded by check or may be used for credit for the 2007 season.

There are five possible home dates for the Wranglers during the playoffs. Should the team make the playoffs, the Wranglers would open up Games 1 and 2 in Tulsa on September 5th and 6th. The Wranglers would then return home for Game 3 on September 7th, and would play the 8th and 9th if necessary.

Should the Wranglers advance; we would host Games 1 and 2 of the Championship Series on Monday, September 11 and Tuesday, September 12. The Wranglers would then finish the season on the road in the South Divisions home ballpark on September 14-16. Corpus Christi is the 1st Half South Division Champion, and Midland is currently leading the South Division in the 2nd half, with Frisco trailing by just ½ game.
