Las Vegas Wranglers News Release

Las Vegas, Nev. - The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today that defenseman Channing Boe has agreed to terms with the team for the 2011-12 season. Defenseman Eddie DelGrosso has also been released by the team and claimed off of waivers by the Ontario Reign.

The 2011-12 season will be Boe's first as a professional hockey player. He earned an amateur try-out with the ECHL's Reading Royals late in the 2010-11 season, and the Bemidji, Minn. native collected one assist and 18 penalty minutes in 20 games. Boe, 25, was named assistant team captain for his final two seasons at MSU and made the WCHA All-Academic team in 2008-09 and 2009-10.

The Wranglers host Opening Night, billed as "The Last Professional Hockey Game on Earth," on Friday, Oct. 21 at 7:05 p.m. against Ontario Reign. 2011-12 season seat packages, starting at $30, are on sale now at 702-471-PUCK.
