
Inaugural Home Game for Express Is Just Two Days Away

Hoffman Estates, IL - The Chicago Express, proud member of the ECHL and proud affiliate of the NHL's Columbus Blue Jackets, kick off the home portion of their inaugural season schedule this Saturday, October 22. Fans will get their first chance to experience all the great amenities that will be available all season long.
The puck drops at 7:30 pm on Saturday, with division rival Kalamazoo in town to battle the Express. Doors for this special game will open at 6 pm. On Sunday, and for the remainder of the season, doors will open one hour before the scheduled puck drop.
Immediately upon entering through the front doors of the arena, fans will notice the trackless train ready to provide rides around the concourse. Both kids and adults are welcome to ride the trackless train for $1 per ticket. Kids will also find fun entertainment all season long in the Traxtown Kids Zone. Traxtown features a puck shot zone, Gockey UzGNX] tables, bubble hockey, air hockey, and video game systems.
For season ticket holders, don't forget about the discounted food options at all the concession stands. Full season ticket holders enjoy a discount on nachos, hot dogs, and pretzels with their V.I.P. cards. The discount is available at any of the concession stands, so find the closest one and rack up the savings!
Levy Food Service, who provides all the food in the Sears Centre Arena, has some delicious new recipes to sample. Barbeque chicken nachos, barbeque pork nachos, smoked barbecue pork and chicken sandwiches, mac 'n cheese, and kettle chips are all new items that are being served at the Fired Up BBQ stands. The Extreme Loaded Dogs stands will feature the Nach-Yo Dog, the Heater, the Big Kid Dog, the Taco Dog, and the Frito Pie Dog. Kettle chips will also be available at these stands.
The Chicago Express will open up the home portion of their schedule on Saturday, October 22nd versus the Kalamazoo Wings with a 7:30 p.m. face-off at the Sears Centre Arena.
