Wranglers Adjust Schedule

Las Vegas, NV- The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today that the team has changed three games on the schedule for the 2007-08 season due to conflicts at U.S. Airways Center between the ECHL's Phoenix RoadRunners and the NBA's Phoenix Suns.

Las Vegas will play in Phoenix at the U.S. Airways Center on Tuesday, February 5th at 6:11 pm (PST). The game was originally scheduled to be played at the Orleans Arena. The game scheduled for Friday, February 8th in Phoenix has been moved to Thursday, February 7th at 6:11 pm (PST) at the U.S. Airways Center. The road game in Phoenix on Saturday, March 22nd will be played at the Orleans Arena on Sunday, March 23rd at 7:05 pm.

Opening Day for the ECHL's 20th Anniversary Season will be October 18th when the Johnstown Chiefs host the Wheeling Nailers at Cambria County War Memorial in a rematch of Game 7 from the first-ever ECHL Finals. The ECHL will play 900 games beginning October 18th and concluding April 5th.

Celebrating its 20th Anniversary as the Premier 'AA' Hockey League in 2007-08, the ECHL began in 1988-89 with five teams in three states and has grown to be a coast-to-coast league that will have 25 teams in 17 states and British Columbia in 2007-08. The 25 teams includes the Mississippi (Biloxi) Sea Wolves, who return after missing two seasons in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, and the expansion Elmira (N.Y.) Jackals.

The Wranglers play all 36 home games at the Orleans Arena, located at the Orleans Hotel and Casino at 4500 W. Tropicana Avenue. Las Vegas will host Opening Night on Sunday, October 21st at 7:05 pm at the Orleans Arena. The Wranglers will host the Bakersfield Condors at 7:05 pm on Thursday, October 11th in a preseason game.
