
Inferno Signs Chris Myers

COLUMBIA, S.C. (July 26, 2007) - Head Coach Troy Mann has announced that right winger Chris Myers has agreed to terms for the 2007-08 season.
The 5'11", 185 lbs., South Boston, Massachusetts native, played his collegiate career with the University of Vermont . The 23-year-old scored 33 goals, 21 assists and 97 penalty minutes in 128 games. He was also named to the 2006-07 Hockey East All-Academic Team. Myers will be joining former Catamount teammate Jeff Miles in the Inferno lineup.
"Chris is a strong energetic type of player who competes on a nightly basis," said Coach Mann. "He plays physical, blocks shots, has a quick release and is responsible defensively. I believe he will fit nicely into our lineup."
