Worcester Sharks News Release

WORCESTER - Worcester Sharks President and CEO Michael T. Lehr announced that the Worcester Sharks will wear a St. Patrick's Day themed jersey in all three games this weekend designed by six-year-old Cameron Dungey and his younger sister, four-year-old Madison of Sturbridge, MA. The game worn jerseys will be auctioned off during the Sharks game vs. the Hartford Wolf Pack on Sunday, March 16th at 4p.m. at the DCU Center.

The winning jersey design was chosen from hundreds of entries gathered by the Sharks throughout the "Design A Jersey" contest. For winning the contest, Cameron and Madison will receive a Sharks Experience package, which includes dropping the ceremonial puck drop before the game vs. the Wolf Pack and they will receive a game jersey with their name on the back. Each student in their class at the Burgess Elementary School of Sturbridge will also receive free tickets to the Sharks game. Several jersey designs will be displayed in the concourse area throughout the game.

The Sharks will wear the jerseys all weekend long and the jerseys will be auctioned/raffled off when the Sharks host the Wolf Pack on Sunday. After the game, several jerseys will be auctioned off during a LIVE auction where fans may bid on jerseys and receive them "right off the back" of their favorite Sharks players. All proceeds will benefit Sharks Charities.
