
Worcester Sharks Host Final Regular Season Home Game at DCU Center

Worcester, MA - The Worcester Sharks (@WorcesterSharks), proud American Hockey League affiliate of the San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) announced today the special promotions surrounding the last regular season Sharks game to be played at the DCU Center on Sunday, April 19 vs. the Portland Pirates at 3pm.
The Sharks (40-27-4-2, 86pts) magic number is just 1 to clinch a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference with three games remaining!
On Friday, the Sharks kick off the 3-in-3 weekend with a 45 minute drive south to Providence for a 7:05pm faceoff vs. the Bruins.
On Saturday, the Sharks head north to battle the first place Manchester Monarchs at 7pm.
On Sunday, the Sharks host their final regular season game at the DCU Center with a 3pm puck drop vs. the Portland Pirates. Doors will open at 12pm for a FAN FEST and for the annual Boston Bruins Alumni doubleheader to benefit Why Me.
There will be a face painter, photo booth, caricature and balloon artist with a commemorative movie poster giveaway! There will also be plenty of other giveaways as the Sharks host their last regular season game at the DCU Center! Dozens of local youth hockey players will hit the ice during the pregame festivities in the annual Parade of Champions!
As with every Sunday home game, kids tickets are just five dollars with the purchase of an adult ticket presented by Fisher Agencies! (available day of game at the DCU Center Box Office) Mascots Scratch and FINZ will also attend the game.

Glen Featherstone, Bill Bennett, Guy Larose, Kenny Hodge JR, Fred Ahearn, Rick Middleton, Tom Songin
