
Worcester Sharks Host 4th Annual PINK in the RINK to Benefit the Cup Crusaders on January 31

Worcester, MA - The Worcester Sharks (@WorcesterSharks), proud American Hockey League affiliate of the San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) announced today the special events surrounding the 4th annual "PINK in the RINK" event to benefit the Cup Crusaders presented by Pepsi on Saturday, January 31 at 7pm at the DCU Center in Worcester when the Sharks host the Providence Bruins.
For the fourth straight season, the DCU Center Ice will be colored PINK and the Sharks will wear commemorative PINK jerseys sponsored by Pepsi to benefit the Cup Crusaders and to support breast cancer awareness and research.
The PINK jerseys will all be auctioned off through raffle, chinese auction, silent auction, a post-game live auction, and a select few via an online auction; with proceeds to benefit the Cup Crusaders. The Sharks will also be selling PINK mystery autograph pucks with proceeds to benefit the Cup Crusaders.
Before the Worcester Sharks host the Providence Bruins at 7pm, the St. John's high school varsity hockey team will battle St. Peter-Marian high school at 4pm in the 9th annual High School Hockey Classic presented by Anna Maria College. Hang out with the WXLO Street Team as doors at the DCU Center open at 3:30pm with one ticket good for both games!

MISSION of the Cup Crusaders;
The Cup Crusaders, are a local team that raises money for the Susan G. Komen 3-day for the Cureî. The 3-Day is a 60-mile walk for women and men who want to make a personal difference in the fight to end breast cancer. The Cup Crusaders started in 2005 with the ultimate goal of being instrumental in helping to find a cure. To date, the team has raised over $1,000,000 for breast cancer research and awareness!
