IceCaps Send Freibergs, Holland to Ontario

The St. John's IceCaps announced that defenceman Ralfs Freibergs has been returned on loan to the Ontario Reign of the ECHL and forward Patrick Holland has been loaned to Ontario.

Freibergs, 23, has played in five games with the IceCaps, notching two assists. The Riga, Latvia native has suited up in 24 games with the Reign this season, collecting two goals and six assists with four penalty minutes and a +9 rating.

Holland, 23, was acquired in a trade between the Winnipeg Jets and Montreal Canadiens prior to the season, but has played in just seven games with the IceCaps this season due to injury.

The IceCaps finish their five-game road trip next Friday (8:30 p.m. NST) and Saturday (6:30 p.m. NST) vs. the Albany Devils at Times Union Center. Catch all the action with broadcaster Brian Rogers at stjohnsicecaps.com, 930AM and ahllive.com.
