
Coyotes Recall Lessio and Campbell from Portland

GLENDALE, ARIZONA - Arizona Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have recalled forward Lucas Lessio and defenseman Andrew Campbell from the Portland Pirates, the club's American Hockey League affiliate (AHL).
The 22-year-old Lessio has appeared in nine games with the Coyotes this season, recording 1-1-2 and eight penalty minutes (PIM). The 6-foot-1, 212-pound native of Maple, Ont., has posted 10-8-18 and 16 PIM in 29 games with the Pirates. He ranks tied for second on the team in goals. Lessio was originally drafted by the Coyotes in the second round (56th overall) in the 2011 Entry Draft.
The 26-year-old Campbell has played in one game with the Coyotes this season. He has appeared in four NHL games in his career with the Coyotes and Los Angeles Kings. The 6-foot-4, 206-pound native of Caledonia, Ont., has registered 3-9-12 and 30 PIM in 40 games with Portland this season. Campbell was originally drafted by the Los Angeles Kings in the third round (74th overall) in the 2008 Entry Draft.
