
Worcester Sharks Announce Roster Moves

Worcester, MA - Worcester Sharks (@WorcesterSharks) General Manager Joe Will has announced several changes to the Worcester Sharks training camp roster.
The following four players have been released from their training camp tryouts:
- Vladyslav Gavrik - F
- John McInnis - F
- Cody Ferriero - F
- Jordan Heywood - D
In addition, defenseman Brendan Ellis has been loaned to the South Carolina Stingrays (ECHL).
The Worcester Sharks training camp roster now consists of 24 players (14 forwards, 7 defensemen, and 3 goaltenders). Click HERE for the training camp roster.
Worcester will close out their exhibition schedule at Trinity College in Hartford, CT on Sat., Oct 4 at 7pm vs. the Wolf Pack.
Worcester's training camp in preparation for the season opener on Saturday, Oct. 11 at Binghamton against the Senators will conclude on Oct. 5.
Worcester celebrates 20th years of AHL hockey!
The 2014-15 season marks the 20th season of AHL action at the DCU Center in the city of Worcester. Over 3.8 million fans have attended either an IceCats (11 seasons) or Sharks (9th season) game in downtown Worcester since 1994.
