
Worcester Bravehearts Beat up on Torrington

The Worcester Bravehearts (13-4) continued to pile up the runs on Sunday, scoring six runs in the last three innings, en route to an easy 17-3 win over the Torrington Titans (9-9) at Fitton Field.

Brian Christian had an impressive outing against the Torrington Titans' lineup. The Torrington Titans managed just two hits off of Christian, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out seven during his four innings of work.
Jack St. Clair was hot from the plate for the Torrington Titans. St. Clair went 3-5, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the sixth, seventh, and ninth innings.
Evan Devico recorded his first win of the year for the Worcester Bravehearts. He allowed three runs over three innings. Devico struck out three, walked one and gave up five hits.
Brett Susi couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Torrington Titans, taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out four.
The Worcester Bravehearts easily handled the Torrington Titans pitching as six hitters combined for 13 hits, 13 RBIs and 13 runs scored.
