Fort Worth Brahmas News Release

Fort Worth – Two new faces and one old face will be in the Fort Worth Brahmas lineup tonight when they take on the Indianapolis Ice at 6:00 p.m. (CST) at the Pepsi Coliseum in Indianapolis.

Left wing Chad Woollard, the Brahmas team captain and team leader in points (32) and assists (18) has been reassigned to the Brahmas following a call up to the St. John's Maple Leafs of the American Hockey League. In four games last week with the Toronto Maple Leafs top affiliate, Woollard scored one goal and picked up four penalty minutes.

Defenseman Scott McCallum, who was acquired in a trade with the Austin Ice Bats earlier this week, has been signed to a contract and added to the active roster.

Also signed to a contract this morning was free agent defenseman Stefan Katalina. The Stockholm, Sweden native has played in 18 games this season with the Oklahoma City Blazers, assisting on 2 goals and picking up 35 penalty minutes. Katalina was placed on waivers by the Blazers last week.

Woollard, McCallum, and Katalina will all skate for the Brahmas tonight against Indianapolis. To make room for the trio on his roster, Brahmas head coach Al Sims placed three players on waivers—forward Kyle Foddrill and defensemen Jason Reimers and Justin Berry.

Fort Worth has lost their last two games in a row, and they will be looking to get back on the winning track tonight against the Ice. Tonight's game is the first of two this weekend in Indy for the Brahmas, as the same two teams will square off again at 6:00 p.m. (CST) tomorrow at the Pepsi Coliseum. The Brahmas are 1-1-1 this season in three meetings against Indianapolis.
