Woodwards $1.49 Day Returns on Tuesday

Vancouver, B.C. - The Vancouver Giants will host the Spokane Chiefs tomorrow evening for Woodwards $1.49 Day at the Pacific Coliseum! Face-off is set for 7:00pm as the Giants will celebrate the history of the Vancouver institution that is Woodwards for a second straight year.

"We're thrilled to be able to celebrate a great Vancouver tradition," said Giants VP, Business Development Dale Saip. "Woodwards is an iconic brand and a great part of our city's history that goes back over 110 years."

There will be a number of $1.49 deals at the concessions at the Rink on Renfrew while fans who buy one regular price ticket to the game can get a second ticket for just $1.49!

Woodwards alumni will be meeting in the East Side Fan Zone prior to the game, and there will also be a whistling contest in the second intermission as fans try to replicate the famous Woodswards jingle!
