Regina Pats News Release
The Week That Was
It was a relatively light week for the Pats as they played two games, both in Alberta. The trip started off in Edmonton where the Pats overcame the Oil Kings in a back and forth affair. Braden Christoffer scored twice late in the third to propel the Queen City Kids to a 6-4 victory. The following night was a game of quick swings. The Pats scored goals 17 seconds apart in the second to take a 2-1 lead, but the Rebels returned the favour, scoring goals 13 seconds apart, to take a 3-2 lead to the third. The Pats tied the game off the stick of Braden Christoffer, but Haydn Fleury got the game winner on a puck that ricocheted off two Pats before finding its way into the net in a 5-3 Red Deer win.
