WOLF TRACKS

--- The Wolves have posted a 13-6-1-1 record in 21 games since losing players to the end of the NHL lockout on Jan. 6 to move into a tie for seventh place in the Western Conference playoff standings; Chicago sits in second place in the Midwest Division with 61 points in 52 tilts (27-18-4-3); the team's 52 games are the fewest-played in the AHL and it holds at least two games in hand on all of the other 14 teams in the Western Conference and at least four games on 7 of them.

--- The Wolves and Stars both were not awarded a power-play opportunity in their tilt on March 1; it marked the first time in Chicago's AHL history that it didn't earn at least one man-advantage chance; the last time the Wolves failed to generate a power-play chance came on Feb. 16, 2001, when it was still a member of the IHL.

--- After averaging 3.20 goals per game during the month of February, Chicago has scored just three goals in its first two tilts in March; the Wolves have registered a 8-13-3-0 mark when scoring two or fewer goals this year.

--- Beginning with its game against Milwaukee on Friday, Chicago will battle Midwest Division foes in six straight contests; the Wolves have accrued an 11-12-3-2 mark within the Midwest Division this season.
