HOME COOKIN'

The Wolves have earned a point in 16 consecutive games on home ice (15-0-0-1), which is the second longest streak in the AHL; Chicago - which plays four of its next five games at the Allstate Arena - has notched a 24-6-0-2 record on home ice overall this season, outscoring opponents, 118-74, along the way.

WOLVES HEADLINES

--- SPENCER MACHACEK: Posted six points (G, 5A) in four games this week, which includes matching a season-best three assists on Sunday ... Ranks fourth on the team with 17 goals and sixth with 41 points in 64 games this season ... Notched six assists and nine points during a current six-game point streak, which is a season-high

--- ANDREW KOZEK: Bagged four points (3G, A) in four games this week, which includes matching a season-high two goals on Sunday ... Ranks second among Wolves rookies with 10 goals and 17 points in 54 contests this season ... Tallied three goals and six points in his last seven games after being held scoreless in his previous 14 matchups

--- JASON KROG: Accrued four assists and five points in four games this week ... Ranks first on the Wolves and shares first in the AHL with 53 assists and paces the team and ranks fifth in the league with 66 points in 63 matchups this year ... Tallied at least one point in 42 of his 63 contests this season, which includes 18 multiple-point outings

--- PETER MANNINO: Earned wins in both of his appearances this week to extend his career-high winning streak to 13 games ... Shares third in the AHL with a .926 save percentage and ranks fourth in the league with a 2.14 goals-against average in 28 outings this season (21-3-0); his 21 wins are tied for eighth in the league

WOLF TRACKS

--- The Wolves picked up their 41st win of the season last night, which leads the West Division and ranks third in the AHL; Chicago sits atop the West Division with 88 points through 65 games (41-18-1-5) and holds a six-point advantage on second-place Rockford, which has played three more games.

--- Defenseman PAUL POSTMA has posted six goals and 12 points in his last nine outings after recording 11 points (5G, 6A) in his previous 39 contests; the 21-year-old ranks second among league rookie blueliners and shares fifth overall among AHL defenseman with 11 goals in 48 games this season.

--- Chicago surrendered a power-play goal for the first time in four games on Sunday; the Wolves rank eighth in the league with an 84.5 efficiency rating on the penalty kill (213 of 252).

--- Left wing ANDREW KOZEK became the 12th player on the Wolves this season to reach double-digits in goals on Sunday; Chicago had 11 players score 10 or more goals last year.

--- The Wolves have been held without a power-play strike in four straight games, which matches a season-high (zero for six); Chicago ranks 11th in the AHL with an 18.4 efficiency rating on the power-play (49 of 266).

--- The Wolves saw a 4-1 lead slip away but managed to come away victorious after an eight-round shootout with a 5-4 victory over the Lake Erie Monsters at the Allstate Arena
--- Left wing ANDREW KOZEK notched two goals in regulation, while right wing SPENCER MACHACEK added three assists
--- Goaltender PETER MANNINO kicked out 17 of 21 shots he faced in regulation and overtime and stopped five of eight attempts in the shootout

Sat., March 6
(at) Chicago 2, Milwaukee 1
--- Chicago defenseman IVAN VISHNEVSKIY broke a 1-1 tie 7:25 into the third period to give the Wolves a 2-1 win before 13,024 fans at the Allstate Arena
--- Right wing SPENCER MACHACEK scored the other tally, while centers JASON KROG and JOHNNY POHL each had two assists
--- Goaltender PETER MANNINO posted 23 saves on 24 shots

Fri., March 5
(at) Hamilton 5, Chicago 4 (SO)
--- The Wolves tied the game with 79 seconds remaining in regulation but fell in a shootout, 5-4, to the Hamilton Bulldogs at Copps Coliseum
--- Forwards JOEY CRABB, KEVIN DOELL and JASON KROG and defenseman PAUL POSTMA scored in regulation
--- Goaltender DREW MacINTYRE posted 29 saves in regulation and overtime and stopped two attempts in the shootout

Wed., March 3

--- The Wolves scored three times in the second period and used a 19-save shutout from goaltender DREW MacINTYRE to blank Toronto, 3-0, at Ricoh Coliseum
--- Forwards KEVIN DOELL (G, A), ANDREW KOZEK (G, A) and defenseman ARTURS KULDA (G, A) supplied the offense
