Heat Make Roster Moves

ABBOTSFORD BC - The Abbotsford Heat have made two roster moves today.

Goaltender Matt Keetley has been assigned to Victoria of the ECHL. Keetley, 23, from Medicine Hat AB, has appeared in 23 games for the Heat this season. Keetley has a record of 10-7-1, with a 2.59 GAA and a save percentage of.912. Keetley has also posted 2 shutouts this season.

Forward Peter Vandermeer has been assigned to the Utah Grizzlies of the ECHL. Vandermeer, 34, from Red Deer AB, has appeared in 20 games for the Abbotsford Heat this season, scoring two goals and adding two assists. Vandermeer also has amassed 91 penalty minutes this season.

Abbotsford opens a two game series versus the Lake Erie Monsters on Friday night from the Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Centre. Game time on Friday night will be 7:30 pm, while the rematch on Saturday will be at 4 pm.
