
Wolves Ink Colby Spooner

In the hunt for the Commissioner's Cup, the Watertown Wolves are pleased to announce that Colby Spooner, a Hilton, New York native, has signed for the 2014-2015 inaugural season with the team.
Spooner is a defenseman/center who possesses a skilled game, and at 5'8" and 195 pounds can also play a hard-hitting style. He played his four year collegiate career at SUNY Brockport (NCAA Division III) and graduated with a degree in criminal justice, currently working towards his MBA with a focus in Sports Management. Colby will spend his second consecutive season in Watertown after finishing the 2013-2014 season with the Watertown Privateers where he registered 6 goals and 21 assists in 49 games.
"Colby brings a powerful skating style with good ice awareness and also has a knack for the big hit" says Head Coach Brent Clarke. "He will be a big contributor to the Wolves' success in 2014-15."
Opening night is October 17th versus the Danbury Whalers at Watertown Fairgrounds Arena, with puck drop at 7:35pm.
