March 9, 2020 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
Sudbury Wolves News Release
(Greater Sudbury, ON) The Sudbury Wolves will head on the road this weekend for the final time during the regular season as they make stops in Peterborough on Thursday, St. Catharine's on Saturday and Hamilton on Sunday. Thursday and Saturday's games have start times of 7:05pm while Sunday is set for a 2pm puck drop.
The Wolves are coming off a big 8-0 win over the Kingston Frontenacs Sunday afternoon and are winners of 8 of their last 12 games. The team now has a magic number of 2 to clinch the Central Division title for the 2019-20 season. In order to clinch, they need a combination of one win and one loss by the Barrie Colts which could happen as early as Thursday should the Wolves win and the Colts lose Wednesday.
Fans can follow the Wolves on the road by tuning into the live play-by-play on CKLY 96.7 and by streaming on mixlr.com/sudburywolves. Fans can also watch on OHL Live and Eastlink Channel 10 and 610 HD.
Single game playoff tickets for home games number one and number two of the playoffs are on-sale now at the Sudbury Arena Box Office and online at greatersudbury.ca/tickets. Dates, times and opponents are still to be determined as the Wolves secure who their opponent in the first round will be.
The Wolves will play their last two home games of the regular season on Tuesday March 17th and Friday March 20th. Fans are reminded that they must use any outstanding redeemers and vouchers valid for the 2019-20 season during these two remaining games. Tickets are on-sale now at greatersudbury.ca/tickets and at the Sudbury Arena Box Office.
