
Wolves Fall to 0-3 in Loss to Salt Lake City

ORLANDO, FL - The Iowa Wolves (0-3), the NBA G League affiliate of the Minnesota Timberwolves, suffered an 84-97 loss to the Salt Lake City Stars (1-2) today at the HP Field House.
Iowa got off to a slow start, shooting just 25% in the first quarter for 12 points, compared to 50% shooting from the Stars, who tallied 28 points in the first twelve minutes.
Iowa won the third and fourth quarters, but couldn't overcome the 29 point halftime deficit.
Lindell Wigginton led the Wolves with 16 points on 6-of-16 shooting, while Tyler Cook continued his streak in the rebound-leader category to three games, grabbing 9 rebounds against Salt Lake City. Ade Murkey and Dakarai Tucker contributed 15 points and 14 points, respectively, off-the-bench.
Tyler Bey led the Stars with 18 points on 7-of-13 shooting, while adding 11 rebounds in his double-double effort. Six other Stars scored in double figures, including Mike Scott who made 4-of-5 from behind the arc.
The Wolves will take on the G League Ignite on Monday, February 15 at 2:00pm CT at AdventHealth Arena.
